Paul Mondoux is a Montreal born, Southampton, ON. based figurative painter with a BFA degree from Concordia University. Paul's career was first spent as an Art Director in large global advertising agencies and then as a freelance illustrator. Working in acrylics and making use of a palette of rich colours, he creates surprisingly realistic effects of light, shadow and depth. 

 

"As I paint", he says, "my work unfolds into a story." By telling these stories, the artist initiates a challenging and rewarding conversation with his viewers.
