I’m a self-taught artist who has experimented with many mediums, but oils have always been my favourite. My work is inspired by the beauty of nature, the stories that historical buildings and landscapes hold, and my experiences as an avid outdoor enthusiast. I am particularly inspired by Canadian impressionist painters and often strive to capture the essence of their style in my work. When I’m not in the studio you can find me camping or traveling, always looking for new scenes to spark inspiration. I believe that the beauty of nature can never be fully captured on canvas, but I enjoy the challenge of trying. My goal as an artist is to inspire others to appreciate the natural world, the history and the beauty that surrounds us daily. Beyond painting, I’m passionate about supporting the local art community and small businesses.
