Larry Waters

Having been educated in Architectural Drafting and discovering Watercolour is Larry's most enjoyable medium to work in. Larry found that his best and most satisfying results are in painting buildings and structures. Since becoming and Gallery Artist and being a part of Southampton Larry has focused his attention to painting many of the businesses and streetscapes and the surrounding area, such as the Walker House, Southampton Art School, and some of the more memorable building that are no longer a part of Southampton such as the Beach Bowl, Harrigans, and Down's Pro Hardware. Larry has been fortunate to be part of the Southampton Culture. One of his greatest achievements came when he was accepted as a Gallery Artist at Southampton Arts where his work is being viewed and enjoyed by both local residents and visitors to the area. Larry's personal goal is for all to enjoy his work and to instill a memory or recollection of a place or a building that they have visited or lived in.

Southampton Arts would like to acknowledge the Traditional Territory of the Anishinabek Nation:

The People of the Three Fires known as Ojibway, Odawa, and Pottawatomie Nations, and the Métis Nation.

We further give thanks to the Chippewas of Saugeen, and the Chippewas of Nawash, now known as the Saugeen Ojibway Nation, as the Traditional Keepers of this Land.
