Sylvia Kristina Elliott was born in Germany, grew up in Toronto and for more than twenty years has lived by the shore of Lake Huron near Tobermory on the Saugeen-Bruce Peninsula. At midlife she attended York University (Toronto) to study Fine Art. She is a member of the Bruce Peninsula Society of Artists; the Red Schoolhouse Gallery (Ferndale); Owen Sound Artist's Co-op Gallery; Southampton Arts; and the Milkweed Collective (Toronto). Sylvia's artwork is included in collections in many countries and she has won several awards.
