Our 2023/24 Saugeen District Secondary School co-op students
Toby Sylver is a grade 12 student doing a Co-Op placement at the Southampton Arts Centre. He has lived in Saugeen Shores all his life. He has loved to create art ever since he could pick up a pencil and has wanted to pursue a career in the arts since he was eight years old. His preferred medium is digital art but also often works with whatever medium is available to him.
Toby Sylver loves visual as well as dramatic arts. In school, he chooses to focus on his passion for creating and performing on stage. He participates in regular drama classes as well as musical theatre shows both in and outside of school. Toby is hoping to graduate with a Specialist High Skills major in Arts and Culture.
Toby is very excited to be working at the Southampton Arts Centre over the next few months!"
Rachel Stewart is a returning 2-12 Student at SDSS doing a Co-op placement at the Southampton Arts Centre. Throughout her childhood she loved to get creative and try out new mediums, her preferred medium is Acrylic or Ink.

Rachel is interested in pursuing a career in an art-related field and is grateful for her placement at the Southampton Arts! She hopes to make the best of this amazing opportunity.
