I grew up in an artistic household, in the small town of Southampton. With art supplies packed into every closet, this is where my passion for the arts began, and where my path has lead back to.
I moved to the big city of Toronto in 2010, where I studied at the Ontario College of Art and Design. In 2014, I graduated from the Material Art and Design program, with my thesis dedicated to studying the creation of a not-for-profit business. After living in the city for four years, it was time to move back home to Southampton. With Bruce County being so supportive of the arts, I knew that I could put my passion and skills to good use. I worked as a decorating consultant at Martin's Home Hardware, as a freelance graphic and textile designer, and then started my own business, running a series of Pop-Up Shops to feature the work of local artists and designers.
I always dreamed that I would someday work at the Southampton Arts Centre, and cannot believe that this day is finally here. I am so grateful to those who supported me, and encouraged me to pursue a career in the arts. I am right where I need to be, and am so excited to be working alongside such a talented group of individuals.

From a very young age I have been passionate about Art and Design. This led me to study Graphic Design and Advertising at Conestoga College. After graduating, my entrepreneurial instincts kicked in and I became a freelance artist...dabbling in anything creative that came my way. After years of pursuing art, photography, design and fashion I decided to focus on the one thing I absolutely love to do...designing jewellery! Everything changed from that moment on. I finally felt like all the paths that had been intertwining throughout my life had brought me to this place...where truth and magic happens. My jewellery has been exhibited at the Artist's Co-op in Owen Sound as well as at the Blue Mountain Foundation for the Arts in Collingwood. Throughout the year I also sell my jewellery at arts and crafts shows and enjoy interacting with customers and building a rapport with them. The Up Your Alley show this past August was one of my best shows this year...absolutely loved it! That's why I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to work at The Southampton Arts Centre. Being surrounded by such beautiful work is so inspiring and I look forward to getting to know other local artists like myself and encouraging them on their own creative journeys.
