Ways with Acrylics with Gayle Slinger
Date & Time: May 27-28th, 9am-4pm
Skill Level: Intermediate
In this course students will explore how mediums, colours, and textures can be used to create a beautiful abstract painting. Students will acquire knowledge about acrylic mediums, the purpose of slow drying glazes, the depth formed from dry brushing techniques, and how to use tools like palette knives. Gayle will provide demonstrations on these processes, and will assist in the creative process to create two pieces, from both a light and dark background. This technique is unobstructed, loose and free! It is a great opportunity to try out a painting medium with no drawing skills required. So come join us for two days of fun!
