The Art of Photography with Erin Fitzgibbon
This course is no longer available. Please check back in 2020 to see if it will be offered again.
In this course Erin will walk students through creating a body of work to evoke an emotion in the viewer. Topics covered will include art theory, composition, use of light and shadow, and creating an idea. Students will have the opportunity to shoot a variety of subjects, including still life with items brought from home, and the downtown streetscape to capture the identity of this tiny Canadian town. The images from this excursion will be curated into a collection and shared with the public online. Erin will also discuss how to get your work out there including pitching to a Gallery, and publishing an art book. Please bring your own camera (DSLR, point and shoot, or phone), and a few items of significance to use for still life photography.
