Windswept trees and rugged shorelines dominate the landscape of the East Coast. Weathered fishing stages and lighthouses perch on the rocks awaiting the return of the people who call these lands home.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
In his work, Bill strives to create paintings that are more than observations of the landscape, but representations of memory and emotion: paintings that create tension between realism and expression. His use of highly saturated, fauvist-like colour and texture is intrinsic in his work and reflects his perception and desire to find beauty in the world around us.
