Born and raised in Southampton, Serena is proud to be in her second year as Program Coordinator at Southampton Arts Centre. A graduate of Conestoga College’s Advertising and Marketing Communications program, she brings creativity, strong communication skills, and a passion for community to her role.

An artist herself, Serena enjoys acrylic painting and photography and appreciates the many ways arts brings people together. Outside of the Arts Centre, she enjoys volunteering within the community and loves connecting with new people, helping others, and ensuring everyone who comes through the Arts Centre feels welcomed, supported, and heard.

Daisy McCarty - Gallery Assistant

Daisy was born and raised in Fredericton, New Brunswick as the youngest of four siblings. She attended Leo Hays Highschool until moving to Southampton in 2023. Daisy has recently graduated from the FLEX program at Georgian College and is currently working towards travelling through Australia for six months before applying to school for the winter season.

Daisy is eager to start working in the gallery as it allows for personal growth while learning about art, imagination, and creativity. When she isn't in the gallery, she can be found exploring various different artistic mediums and longboarding & roller blading around Southampton.
