Framed Glass Mosaic with Patti DiFlorio

Participants will be guided through the fundamental processes of design, glass selection, and
composition, including the safe use of glass nippers to shape materials, while creating an
original mosaic in a 5” x 7” frame. A selection of suggested patterns will be provided, or
participants may choose to design their own. The finished piece is suitable for display in a
window or on a wall where light can interact with the glass.
All materials will be provided and are included in the class registration fee.
Safety glasses will be provided; however, participants are welcome to bring their own. Grouting will not be completed during the class; participants whowish to grout their piece at home will be provided with a grout kit and instructions.

Cancellations and Refunds
• A cancellation fee (15% of the course fee) will be deducted for any class canceled by the student more than 14 days before the class starting date.
• NO REFUND is given on classes the student cancels less than 14 days before the class begins.
• If a course is canceled by us, registrants will be given two week’s notice.
• Full refunds will be paid if the course is canceled by the school for any reason.
• There will be no discounts, refunds, credits or transfers for classes not attended.ImportantInformation about our Classes:
• Full payment must be made at the time of registration. We cannot hold registrations without payment.
• Southampton Arts is not liable for any injury or loss/damage to possessions.
• Southampton Arts reserves the right to change a workshop’s location or replace an instructor with the same qualifications, for a class to run.
• Smoking is NOT allowed inside or within 3 meters (10 feet) of the buildings.
• Material Fees are not included in the course cost and are payable to the instructor on the first day of class. Material fees are listed with the class descriptions, and cover supplies provided for you by the
instructor.
• Material List means that you are required to bring your own supplies, based on the list provided.
• The class location will be listed in the description. We hold a variety of classes at different locations throughout Saugeen Shores. Please read the class description carefully.
